Give a gift card

In short: YLC gift cards are not on sale for now. If you have already given some, the Give a card page keeps the list of your cards and their codes.

What happens today

• You have never given a card: there is no button to buy one any more, and the page's address takes you back to Gift card, where you activate a card you received (see Activate a gift card).
• You have already given cards: the page shows Cards you've given, with each card's code and status.

Reading a given card's status

• Waiting to be activated · until…: the person hasn't activated it yet. You can send them the code again.
• Activated on…: done.
• Expired: the deadline has passed.
• Refunded: the card was refunded and no longer works.

For the person who receives the card

1. They create their free YLC account, or sign in.
2. They open Gift card and enter the code.
3. The months of Pass start on the day of activation.

What it costs

Nothing for now: no card is on sale, so no price is shown.

If something goes wrong

• The page takes you back to Gift card: that's normal, sales are stopped and you have no given card to follow.
• The person didn't get the email: copy the code from the list and send it to them.
